Art, Culture and Language Department 
ACL Department is working for propagation, promotion and development of languages, literature, art and culture as an integral part of composite culture of NCT of Delhi.
It organizes Academic, Literary as well as cultural activities like Music & Dance Programs, Seminars, Symposiums, Poet Meets, Plays and Publications etc. These activities are carried out through Sahitya Kala Parishad (SKP), various Language Academies and Dr. Goswami Girdhari Lal Shastri Prachya Vidhya Prathisthanam (Dr.G.G.L.S.P.V.P).
Department organizes Hindi workshops in different Departments of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Hindi Competitions like Hindi Good Handwriting, Essay, Noting-Drafting, Typing and Shorthand in which Officers/Officials of the offices under Govt. of NCT of Delhi participates are also organized.
The Translation work of various departmental notifications, circulars etc. in Hindi Languages are carried out.
The department provides Grant-in-Aid to NGO’s for opening and running Libraries in different Assembly Constituencies.
Grant-in-Aid to Lal Bahadur Shashtri Sewa Niketan (NGO) for a library under the scheme Grant in Aid to Cultural Institutions (State Scheme).
Financial assistance to the NGO’s/Institutions/Societies/Trusts for organizing Poetry, Literary, Art & Culture.
